Final Report Aqua-therm Nitra 2001
The third annual International trade fair AQUA-THERM Nitra, which
was held from 13th to 16th February, 2001, exceeded all expectations. The organisers were
mainly surprised by the record number of visitors, especially specialist ones, who visited
Nitra from all of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary, as there were more
than half as many again as last year. The massive promotional campaing both in Slovakia
and the surrounding countries certainly contributed to this.
It was shown that there had been a lack of a purely specialist trade fair focussed in this
way in the Slovak Republic, and that the theme of technical equipment for buildings is
becoming more and more topical. Naturally enough, the exhibitors - for whom AQUA-THERM
Nitra became a great start to this year - were satisfied.
The trade fair was accompanied by a diverse specialist programme, which was primarily
ensured by the Slovak Society of Environmental Technology and also the Slovak Energy
Agency, the Slovak Union of Heat Producers and the Guild of Heating and Heating
Technology.
A specialist committee awarded four trade fair gold medals and four
certificates of merit to the best exhibits. In the entire history of the trade fair, only
twelve medals have been awarded.
The organisers believe that AQUA-THERM Nitra will soon gain the kind of name that the
AQUA-THERM trade fairs in Austria and the Czech Republic for example have.
