9th International Trade Fair for Heating Technology, Air-conditioning, Sanitary, Environment Protection technology, Measurement and Regulation
Prague Aqua-therm still on the rise
Although the Czech Republic is among the smaller countries according to its number of inhabitants, it is unbelievable the number of furnaces, air-conditioning units and the amount of sanitation equipment the country has absorbed over the past few years. After years of neglect, improvements in these areas have been spurred by a movement toward gas energy as well as by a heightened respect for the environment. An increase in energy prices and the ensuing pressure on the consumer to save on energy spending has also contributed to a reappraisal of heating system.
It is not wonder then that Aqua-therm Praha Trade Fair, which dedicates itself to these problems, has recorded over the past few years a continuous growth in the number of exhibitors and visitors. Last year the organisers registered 465 direct exhibitors from ten countries and 46,167 visitors, of which 77.3 percent were specialist. Over the past few years the fair has become not only a nation-wide affair, but also attracted a rising number of visitors from abroad. Last year every fifteenth visitor was from Slovakia, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Russian and other countries. Aqua-therm Praha Trade Fair exhibits heating, air-conditioning, sanitary, environment protection technology, measurement and regulation and its professional level is guaranteed by the two largest Czech professional organisation in the country - Union of Entrepreneurs for Technical Equipment of Buildings and Association of Professional Wholesalers Sanitation - Heating - Air-conditioning. The Ministry of the Environment, Industry and Trade and the Economic Chamber are the event's annual sponsor.
The Aqua-therm, which will take place in Prague on November 26-30, belongs to a 10-member family of the same name, which was established by the Vienna Fair Administration 22 years ago with the organisation of the first Aqua-therm in Vienna.The Aqua-therm fair is known for its mark of good quality in all ten European cities and this is more than confirmed in Prague.
