Dear exhibitors,
I should like to invite you to participate at the eleventh International trade fair Aqua-therm Prague, which focuses on heating technology, air-conditioning, sanitary, environment protection technology, measurement and regulation.
Last year the trade fair successfully completed the first decade of its existence. Over the years it has become the largest of the Aqua-therm family of trade fairs which are held in Central and Eastern Europe. In terms of scope and significance it supersedes all the events in the field of technical buildings which are held in the Czech Republic and in neighbouring countries.
Last year the trade fair filled the entire Exhibition Grounds in Prague and attracted the attention of all those who work in the field of the technical equipment of buildings or who are interested in it. A total of 454 exhibitors were present at the trade fair, and every sixth one came from abroad.
Over the five days of the trade fair, almost 44 thousand visitors came, and three quarters of these consisted of traders and experts.

The results of a survey also provide evidence that the exhibitors were satisfied at Aqua-therm. Ninety percent of exhibitors evaluated the trade fair highly or nearly positively. Naturally, even without a survey it is possible to evaluate the quality of the trade fair, because the vast majority of exhibitors and visitors return to Aqua-therm every year.
The trade fair naturally serves for the presentation of new items and new trends in the field. And for this reason, state bodies pay it due attention, from the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of the Environment up to the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic and the City Council of the Capital, Prague.

The expert programme is an inseparable part of the trade fair. And during last year's event, several fundamental international conferences were held in connection with the accession of the Czech Republic and other countries to the European Union. More than seven hundred participants took part in the conference East held by the Federation of Entrepreneurs in the Field of Technical Equipment of the Czech Republic, the event of the European Association for Environmental Equipment REHVA and the conference of the Internet portal TZB-info.
For ten years now one of the most highly-valued awards in the field of technical equipment of buildings has been the Aqua-therm gold medal. Every year dozens of registered exhibits are subjected to the strict criteria for the gaining of the medal. But only a few of them (nine last year) gain the award in the end. The trade fair gold medal for exhibits is thus the best guarantee of quality and technical advance.

Dear exhibitors,
This year Aqua-therm Prague is entering the second decade of its existence. I am convinced that it will be at least as successful as the first, because the rapid development of the fields which the trade fair covers gives all indications that Aqua-therm will continue to develop. This is because it is a trade fair which is visited by traders and experts, in whom you the exhibitors have the greatest interest.
