About the role
Managing, maintaining and forging new relationships within the entire building chain in your allocated region and identifying opportunities in the market to grow the Kingspan Insulation market position in that region with a view to reaching Kooltherm, Therma and OPTIM-R turnover targets set for the region.

Key duties
  • Drawing up the plan for rayon and providing input for the annual plan in line with strategic objectives.
  • Informing parties throughout the construction chain within the assigned region about the existing range and new products and services.
  • Developing new business by actively identifying and exploiting new opportunities.
  • Approaching relevant market players, forging new relationships and closing orders.
  • Providing input for the strategic sales and marketing approach.
  • Offering project-related advice on choosing products and guidance through to the eventual purchase of the materials for the project.
  • Growing and maintaining a network of potential new customers and existing customers, property developers, architects, structural consultants, building trade, housing associations and property owners.
  • Issuing project pricing, negotiating quotations and closing orders.
  • Identifying potential business deals by carrying out research on the building market.
  • Following relevant market developments in the field.
  • Aftersales on projects sold.
  • Offering advice on-site at projects.
  • Analysing competitor market strategies.
  • Making suggestions for product development / innovation.
  • Forging new relationships within the work area.
  • Combined rayon approach to leads and projects with Internal Sales.
  • Strategic partnerships with selected partners.
  • Making suggestions for exploiting market potential.
  • Keeping product knowledge up-to-date.
  • Attending sales meetings.
  • Supplying the monthly reports and providing updates on current affairs in the region and explaining the figures.
  • Making agreements and recording these agreements, projects and opportunities in CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and growing existing relationships.
  • Specification and sale of Kooltherm and OPTIM-R product groups.
  • Providing regional market information.
  • Updating and recording details on customers and customer agreements in CRM.
  • Good overview of market potential.
  • Achieving objectives set.

Role requirements

  • Higher professional (sales) education.
  • 3-5 years' work experience in a commercial and / or technical role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Knowledge of construction is an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in a B2B firm is an advantage.
  • Thorough knowledge of automated data processing (CRM).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
