Invitation to the Twelfth International Trade Fair Aqua-therm Praha

Dear exhibitors,
Last year the international trade fair Aqua-therm Praha successfully commenced its second decade of existence. Four hundred and fifty-five exhibitors came to Prague from fifteen countries (more than in 2003), and more than 42,000 visitors came to view the exhibits, of which 28,000 were traders and experts.
Over the years, the trade fair Aqua-therm Praha has maintained a high expert standard and clearly surpasses similar events taking place in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries. In the year 2004, the organisers welcomed a new expert guarantor - The Society of Environmental Engineering of the Czech Republic, which joined the existing guarantors such as the Federation of Entrepreneurs in the Field of Technical Equipment of the Czech Republic and Society of Environmental Engineering.
There was a significant expansion in the accompanying expert programme, which included not only the traditional international conference East, held under the aegis of the Central Federation SHK in Germany, but also the conference of Technical Equipment of Buildings and Sun 2004, which relates to low-energy constructions, energy saving, renewable resources and the use of solar energy. There was also a significant increase in the number of exhibitors in these areas.
The survey of last year's visitors also confirmed the great credit of the trade fair. 62.4 percent of expert visitors who came to the trade fair had decision-making powers for purchasing and investment.
Every fifth visitor spent more than one day at the trade fair. Almost five percent of visitors came from abroad. Ninety-seven percent of visitors said that they would return to the trade fair in 2005.
The twelfth annual trade fair in 2005 will see another qualitative change. Amongst other things, there will be a significant increase in the number of foreign exhibitors who have discovered the charm of Aqua-therm following the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. In addition to the traditional collective exhibits of Germany, Italy and, last year, Turkey, we will be welcoming joint exhibits from Spain, the People's Republic of China and other countries.
